Jim Berthold is a Principal Solutions Engineer at Flexera. He has over 15 years of experience in software licensing and entitlement management and works closely with both software vendors and intelligent device manufacturers to optimize their software delivery and licensing strategies. Prior to Flexera he held technical positions at companies such as Texas Instruments, Electro Scientific Industries, SafeNet and Intraware. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.
Michael is Director of Solution Architecture and Sales Engineering at Flexera. He focuses on helping customers improve their near-term and strategic business results using innovative pricing and licensing models with software licensing and entitlement management. Michael has many years of experience working with intelligent device manufacturers and enterprise software companies defining, implementing and optimizing software pricing and licensing models, including the customer- and vendor-side processes and infrastructures required to realize substantial and continuous business results.
Matthew Dunkley is Strategy & Product Management Director at Flexera. He defines and shapes Flexera’s IoT Strategy and Software Monetization solution set. He works closely with software suppliers and intelligent device manufacturers worldwide and helps them drive value from their IoT solutions through a mature software monetization strategy and best-in-class products.
Matthew has more than 20 years of industry experience working in the defence, medical, semiconductor and automotive industries (in roles from real-time, embedded software development, to team leading and latterly strategic customer relationship management). Matthew is often to be found providing thought leadership with large customers and speaking at events.
Constant is a Senior Solution Engineer and specializes in Software Monetization solutions. He has many years of experience in helping Software Vendors and device manufacturers optimizing their licensing and entitlement management processes. Constant has been working in the software industry in various roles for the last 15 years in companies such as Intel and LANDesk.
As Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth, Eric Free is responsible for defining Flexera’s corporate vision and strategy, overseeing mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions, managing the company’s product and solutions portfolio, and driving the company’s marketing activities. He has more than two decades of experience in the technology industry, with a strong focus on growth and new businesses and on connecting the edge to the cloud.
Prior to joining Flexera, Eric served as a Vice President of Intel Corporation, where he was a senior executive and general manager in the company’s Internet of Things Group. There, he developed Intel’s consumer Internet of Things strategy and spearheaded Intel’s entry into new consumer and enterprise markets.

John Lipsey is Vice President of Corporate Communications at Flexera where he oversees corporate communications strategy, media and analyst relations and social media. He has 18 years of experience in the Enterprise Software, Internet and Online Content industries serving in marketing, corporate communications and business strategy leadership positions. John is also a licensed attorney.
Jeff Luszcz has helped hundreds of software companies understand how to best use open source while complying with their license obligations and keeping on top of security issues.
Prior to his current role as VP of Product Management, Jeff was the Founder and CTO of Palamida, He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two daughters.
Scott Niemann is a Senior Solution Engineer at Flexera, and has been working in the high tech industry for nearly 20 years. Scott started out his career as an embedded software engineer working on mobile devices, and later as Industry Market Manager at Telelogic and IBM focusing on Communications Service Providers and Network Equipment Manufacturers. As Product Manager at Flexera, Scott plans the product roadmap for the FlexNet Connect product line. Scott has a Masters in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Steve Schmidt is the Vice President of Corporate Development at Flexera, responsible for strategic planning and M&A processes, as well as other cross-product line initiatives. Steve has previously led product planning, positioning and market delivery of Flexera’s industry-leading licensing and installation solutions, including the FlexNet, InstallShield and AdminStudio product lines. Steve began his 20+ year technology management career running global IT projects for Procter & Gamble’s Advanced Technology Group. Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Nicole heads up Product Marketing for Flexera’s software supplier solutions. She and team own go-to-market strategy, positioning and messaging for Flexera’s Software Monetization and Software Composition Analysis solutions and work closely with Product Management. Nicole is responsible for presenting new solutions to software suppliers, that help them digitalize their business models and software operations. Key topics in her work are software monetization for software, SaaS and IoT businesses, as well as securing and managing open source software. Nicole has worked in the software industry for over 10 years, specializing in software monetization, software asset management and digital business models.
Michael is a Senior Practice Manager who has spent the last five years working with Flexera’s diverse software licensing, entitlement management and compliance solutions. He provides clients the best practices and strategies for assessing, designing and implementing business solutions for entitlement and license management systems. Michael has evaluated and executed entitlement management and compliance solutions for such clients as Emerson, Cisco Systems, Texas Instruments and Hitachi Data Systems. As a solutions architect he provides clients with effective methodologies and best practices for assessment, discovery, design, build, test and deployment.
Cris Wendt is a Principal Consultant with Flexera Global Consulting Services Organization. Cris focuses on strategic business model issues relating to implementing licensing, as well as the internal change management aspects of undertaking this business transformation. With extensive licensing, compliance, pricing and entitlement management experience, he focuses on defining and deploying software monetization, licensing and pricing models for global intelligent device manufacturers and enterprise software vendors.
