Secunia CSI 4.1 Highly Commended in the category ‘Best SME Security Solution’

By Niels Henrik Rasmussen

Once again the Secunia Corporate Software Inspector (CSI) 4.1 is ‘highly commended' by SC Awards Europe – this time in the category ‘Best SME Security solution' 2011.

I am extremely happy for Secunia's solutions to, year-on-year, receive industry acknowledgement of this kind. It is something that supports the value that we contribute to companies and private users worldwide through simple, yet effective, solutions, aiding in handling the constantly growing threat of vulnerabilities in Microsoft and third-party programs.

  • Secunia CSI 3.0 – Highly Commended in the category ‘Best Security Management' by SC Awards Europe

  • Secunia CSI 4.1 – Highly Commended in the category ‘Best Vulnerability Management Tool' by SC Awards U.S.
  • Secunia CSI 4.1 – Highly Commended in the category ‘Best SME Security Solution' by SC Awards Europe

This year we were also up against a strong set of industry peers, counting ArcSight, WatchGuard, SafeNet, and Qualys – and even though Qualys took home the award with their QualysGuard Express, the Secunia CSI 4.1 was highly commended for the value it brings to the market. I would in fact like to repeat my words from last year, being that the “key to our success lies in the strategy of always delivering solutions that contain true value and less gift wrapping”.

Last night's commendation is yet another blueprint of Secunia being a key player and contributor in the Vulnerability Management market, striving to develop the market further with the market's needs as core.

Also, a special thank you to the dedicated Secunians for all working smart and towards making Secunia the best IT security company in the world, and the Secunia Community and the more than 3 million private PSI users for valuable input and feedback that ensures that our solutions are constantly improved.

This is the third time that we can take home a ‘highly commended' title – next time we go for taking home the award. Qualys – watch out…

Stay secure,
Niels Henrik Rasmussen
